Power Struggle
This double outdoor receptacle was old and beat up, and all of the plugs except one were non-functional. I replaced the entire box, added an extension ring for extra space, installed new GFCI receptacles and weather-proofed it with an in-use cover.
One of the flip-up receptacle covers was missing and the other was loose, and only one plug was working.
The inside of the box was covered in rust and scaling and the wiring was compromised.
Trying not to fall in the fish pond behind me.
New GFCI's are installed and the box is buttoned up nicely.
